This data was collected as part of an MPhil research aimed at assessing the impact of the insecticide (imidacloprid) on the development of blackchin tilapia, Sarotherodon melanotheron in Kakum Estuary on the Central coast of Ghana, West Africa. The study collected fish specimen from the field and run an exposure test in the laboratory. The dataset contains: 1. The mortality rate of larval fish specimens after exposure to the insecticide for 24 hours 2. metadata associated with the research
