This data was collected as part of an MPhil research aimed at assessing the impact of the insecticide (imidacloprid) on the development of blackchin tilapia, Sarotherodon melanotheron in Kakum Estuary on the Central coast of Ghana, West Africa. The dataset contains: 1. The number of fish showing abnormal growth development after exposure to the insecticide; Abnormal growths were assumed when the specimen showed any of the following: pericardial odema, stunting and curved tails. 2. metadata associated with the research
