a. Faculty of Science Education
The Faculty of Science Education, of the University of Education, Winneba, has nine academic departments and three service units. The faculty focuses on biology, chemistry, physics, home economics, ICT, integrated science, and mathematics education. Health administration education as well as health, physical education, recreation and sports (HPERS) are also their areas of focus. The three units housed under this faculty are food production unit, clothing production unit and ICT technical support unit.
b. Department of Geography Education
The Department of Geography Education is a member of the Faculty of Social Sciences Education. It offers B.A Geography Education, MPhil Geography with Education and M.Ed. Geography. Through these programmes, it produces graduates equipped with relevant knowledge, professional skills, and positive attitudes that will enable them to become effective geography teachers, researchers, and practitioners who can contribute meaningfully to the development of the country and beyond.
